Once again this year, Evo Yachts is attending one of the most important boat shows in the Mediterranean area together with Probrava Group, the brand’s main importer on the Iberian market.
On show at stand D172 will be two best-selling models built by the company owned by the Mercuri brothers: the elegant and sophisticated Evo R4 and the highly appealing Evo R4 WA.
Both models are designed by Studio Tecnico Rivellini, with interiors and exteriors by Valerio Rivellini, and built by Blu Emme Yachts. Their sculpted and muscular styling is also streamlined and minimalist, embodying the idea of functional design expressed by the form & function concept, featuring a vertical bow and high side walls that sweep harmoniously sternwards.
Evo R4, in the sophisticated Enchanted Blue version, has a light but strong steel T-top that is fully suspended with the help of two side arms. A grab handle in the stern follows the line of the windshield and completes a design that achieves the ideal balance between appeal and function.
The yacht’s distinctive features are, as always, the signature “Xtension” bulwards that extend the beach area by 40%, transforming it into a 25-square-meter “pieds dans l’eau” terrace. Also aft is the “Transformer”, an optional platform incorporated seamlessly in the beach area, which can be extended hydraulically for boarding and disembarking, or alternatively used as a sea ladder or an adjustable height diving platform, as well as providing support for a tender and water toys.
In the most appealing and aggressive version, Evo R4 WA, the metallic bronze hull and bicolor cushions (dark brown and lime green) highlight the yacht’s sporty attitude, as does the T-top with steel uprights and Silvertex covering.
The big aft sunpad (can be shaded) turns the cockpit into an exclusive and elegant beach area with direct access to the sea.
Plenty of space below deck translates into liveable interiors featuring new cladding and fine upholstery, confirming the sophistication and attention to detail that have made Evo Yachts day cruisers and their Italian style famous the world over.
Both yachts are powered by VOLVO PENTA IPS 600 engines (2 x 435 hp), which combined with the deep-V hull and 18° deadrise mean they can reach a maximum speed of 38 knots and cruise at 28 knots, with excellent seaworthiness in all conditions.
Evo Yachts will be at the Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona from October 9 to 13, stand D172.
